The organising for rescue of peoples valuables is in process. Emphasis is put on cooperation with the residents and that the actions will be on their terms. The main emphasis will be on salvaging personal items for the residents. “Worldly possessions are easily replaced with money but memories can’t be amended unless we manage to salvage something,” says Guðbrandur.
